Spartan-014 Thomas 'Blue'[CLASSIFIED](Upd. 2/5/16)

                   Initially- Project Freelancer and the UNSC

    Born to a very poor family in 2511, Thomas was the youngest of three. While he was the youngest, he wasn't the center of attention, he actually got little to no attention at all. He had to learn how to defend himself if he ever got in trouble, which did normally happen due to many people thinking of him as a weak link. For five years all he did was defend himself, no friends whatsoever. By 2517 his parents divorced and in the miscommunication was put in the care of his father, who blamed him for the divorce and tortured him as a result. One of the days that happened but the night before, Thomas snuck into his room and stole his magnum so when his father walked in, metal bat in hand, he fired. In the fear of something bad happening to him, he ran from the police.

    On the verge of getting caught by the Police, Thomas ran into a woman who introduced herself as Doctor Halsey. Halsey offered Thomas a chance to get away from his bad history and start a new essentially. Thomas agreed quickly and followed Halsey to a Pelican, taking him off-planet and was replaced by a clone of himself back at his home. The Pelican took him aboard a small frigate who put him in cryo for almost a year until the rest of the candidates were acquired. He woke up to a military officer telling him to follow the group of children which led him to a large room. Waiting for the group of children was Doctor Halsey telling them they'll no longer be able to see their parents again, which completely didn't affect Thomas at all. What really caught his attention was that the seventy-five of them were chosen to protect Earth and it's colonies.

    Unlike the other Twos who seemed completely emotionless as a robot, Thomas and the rest of his team called Zeta Team were the complete opposite, they seemed like normal people thus was why their team wasn't a color. One of the members after some time started to call Thomas 'Blue' and the name stuck. Zeta originally started as a four-man squad until they were offered an extra teammate to help alongside and the squad leader quickly said no and sent Blue to go tell them and there as well was who was supposed to be the extra teammate, a female Spartan named Maria. Instead of repeating what his squad leader said, he did the complete opposite by lying. Saying that the squad leader accepted the offer. There was something about her that made him do this, one of those being that she wasn't like a normal Spartan, but more like a Spartan you'd see in Zeta Team: Having emotions. After Maria's joining in the squad the relationship between Blue and his leader became very rough, the two arguing most of the time and on some occasions, an all-out fist brawl.

    One such occasion of one of their fights happened because of a sexist remark made to Maria and which Blue thought he got said and done by breaking his squad leader's nose and walking away. Unfortunately not as about a day later his leader managed to get a few other Spartans to gang up on Blue which would of worked, if he wasn't talking to Maria when they attacked him. But due to her being there, she helped repel his attackers. After these events Blue and Maria, by now nicknamed 'Green' from her armor, were essentially the odd ones out in the squad. 

    When the time came in training for the augmentations,  he was among the first Spartans to recover from the augmentations and unlike the other Spartans who went back to daily routines, Blue actually stuck around with Green as she recovered which only took a few days. Shortly after the Covenant's attack on Harvest in 2525, the Spartans acquired their Mark IV armor right as the Covenant ambushed them, giving them very little time to get used to the armor. The Spartans did manage to get armored up and boarded a Pelican heading to the cruiser. The Pelican also had several technicians and Dr. Halsey inside. When Blue got word of John-117's idea of jumping through a hole in the cruiser caused by a MAC blast earlier in the battle, he was skeptical of it, due to the fact they were going to jump from a Pelican to a cruiser in zero gravity.

    Nonetheless, the Spartans jumped and out of the 32 who jumped, only three made it: and Blue wasn't one of them. Him, along with Green and the 27 other Spartans were forced to float out in space and watch as the cruiser was destroyed from the inside and rescue teams come and search for the Spartans floating in space. The Mark IV armor had about 90 minutes of breathable air, it took 93 minutes for them to find Blue. While it took three minutes longer, Blue was more than capable to hold his breath for that long due to the abuse his father gave him and from the program. Fighting in the Mark IV armor against the Covenant seemed like a breeze but they all knew to be careful as the plasma from the Covenant weapons will easily burn through the armor plates. Blue'd use the armor for 20 years in the war before convincing Dr. Halsey along with ONI, Blue began wearing the prototype of the Mark V armor. While the armor did have shields like the final production model but at this stage the shields were extremely weak that it only last 2-3 hits before failing. As the war continued Blue personally upgraded and modified the armor to his own liking, eventually topping that of the official armor and on par with the Mark VI.

    In 2544, during a mission to destroy a Covenant cruiser from the inside, a Zealot snuck up behind Blue with the intention of killing him. Green noticed the Zealot and warned Blue, who turned right as the Zealot swung. The sword missed the intention to kill Blue but severed his right arm from his body and kicking him off the platform the three were standing on. The impact with the ground is what knocks Blue unconscious as well as the blood loss. Almost two days later Blue'd awake to learn of what happened and that the mission was finished along with that he lost his arm, being replaced by a prosthetic one. Due to the fact Zeta Team is now only a two-man team they kept the two out of action until Blue was used to his robotic arm. Time went by and as it did, boredom happened, then curiosity which resulted in sex and ended with a pregnant Green. When this happened the two kept the pregnancy a secret from the UNSC.

    Rachel was born in early 2545, when she was born, both Blue and Green decided to momentarily hide from the UNSC and after some small talking, decided to have another. Tyler was born in mid 2546 and after his birth the UNSC noticed what was going on and after talking with ONI, Dr. Halsey, and Project Freelancer, which was starting to become hostile by this point into the war, and decided to let them remain out of action temporarily. They remained out of battle until 2550, returning to the war when Rachel was 5 and Tyler was 4. In 2552 the two participated in the battle of Sigma Octanus IV, fighting in nearby cities around Cote d Azur, when they were called to leave before the activation of the Havok nuke, their Pelican was shot down, leaving them surrounded by Covenant. Blue's luck held on in the form of help from a Freelancer by the name of Illinois whom Green was already friends with, the two knowing each other since they were kids. When the sound of a rescue Pelican was heard, Illinois disappeared but it wouldn't be the last time the three would see each other. They'd encounter each other several more times.

    August 2552, the fall of Reach, a battle proving to be the UNSC's worst defeat in the whole war, Blue and Green were already on the ground at the time of the attack, being ordered to defend major cities while the rest of the Spartans protecting the MAC generators on the ground and purged an AI in space. Blue noticed personally how the battle was effecting Green as Reach was the planet she was born on. Eventually the battle was proving too costly as the Covenant started glassing the planet. Blue and Green were ordered to evacuate from the planet which they managed to do successfully, they boarded a heavily damaged frigate, almost all of it's armor gone from the plasma fire it took, and retreated to Earth where they UNSC prepared to make a final stand. For three months all they did was prepare for what they knew was going to happen. Green now noticed the effects on Blue, as the last stand is taking place on his home now. Blue seemed to have more determination than normal, always had a slight tone of anger in his voice,.

    November 2552, the Battle of Earth, both the Spartans were deployed in various areas around Earth, one of which being  New Mombasa after the Prophet of Regret went into slipspace in atmosphere. They remained on the planet and continue to fight in various countries and cities from Tokyo to New York City. During the deployments the Flood crashed onto the Earth in the remains of New Mombasa. ONI argued whether or not to sent the remaining Spartans on Earth to New Mombasa's remains to combat the Flood, assisting John-117 and the Arbiter. By the time ONI finally made their choice, half of Africa was glassed with the Covenant retreating to Installation 00, the Ark with rebellious Elites, the Forward Unto Dawn and the Master Chief in pursuit. When the Human-Covenant War ended in March 2553, they were offered the chance to be SPARTAN-IVs, which both turned down the offer.

    Before returning to be on their own they encountered the surviving SPARTAN-IIs, Kelly-087, Fredric-104, Linda-058, and Naomi-010, learning what happened in other places during the Battle of Earth. They learned from Kelly, Fred, and Linda of the Battle of Onyx, of Kurt-051, a Spartan every Two thought was dead and now was dead. From Naomi they learned of what Dr. Halsey's arrest and of a new set of armor: the MJOLNIR Mark VII armor, of which Blue and Green still wore the Mark V. Eventually Blue and Green parted ways with the rest of the Twos and went on their own paths.

    In 2558, both Blue and Green would take part in a war on Installation 02, also known as Epsilon Halo, alongside members of the LAC in their war against the PMC, fighting against not only soldiers but also mechanized weapons of war from simple drones to large Mantis-Class assault droids.

    From late-2558 through 2559 the Twos managed to find relaxation. Somehow during the years a Forerunner AI managed to find it's way into Blue's brain but since it didn't do anything other but keep him from dying, they didn't have any second thoughts about it. ONI remembered about the children and brought it up to the Twos about the idea they had: a Spartan program made primarily of children of Spartans. As much as ONI tried, the Twos constantly refused, wanting Tyler and Rachel to choose their own future and not be forced down a path like they were. In 2559 while in a small scouting mission, Blue and Green were ambushed by swarms of Covenant. During the fight, Green was blown up by a plasma grenade. She still survived but told Blue to run off without her, which he finally did. Out of pure rage and fear he went and reportedly killed almost 100 Covenant soldiers before passing out from blood loss.

    After coming to, he learned of Green's death and decided to try to cope with it by hiding. Eventually he came out of the dark, slowly doing more missions for pay, mostly for the UNSC. In 2556 he was among several people who helped train the future generation of Freelancers, one of them being known as Agent Noble. Unlike the other newer Freelancers, she was actually an even match for him. In 2562 ONI would dub him as rogue and put a bounty on his head. It was then when he finally ran into Tyler and Rachel, who are now part of the SPARTAN-V Program. Finally reuniting with his two children and they decided to help him deal with this threat, ONI was creating clones of himself to kill him. For half of the year all he did was hide and hunt the clones, slowly killing them all one by one before finally making a final move against the UNSC base that it all started in. He successfully stormed in and killed the man who was responsible for not only the bounty, but also Green's death. After talking ONI removed the bounty and offered Blue to be back in the UNSC, which he turned down.

    The last person to see Blue in person prior to August 2562 was Agent Noble, but in the encounter she was enraged and was Wrath and tried to kill him while being Wrath, this being before she had control of her. Blue, thinking that sometimes the only way to win is to simply play on the defensive role, never threw a punch intended to hurt her, but tried to stun her to buy time. This resulted in him taking a punishment from Wrath, including a punch square in the face hard enough it broke the visor to little metal pieces. Eventually Noble managed to regain control of herself and finally ended the fight. Blue stuck around long enough to talk and fix his helmet before leaving, saying goodbye, something Noble's never liked. In August 2562, Blue was attacked by an enemy that he never fought before: A Forerunner, the Forerunner that was originally in his head was now pointing a Suppressor at him. The weaponry the Forerunner was carrying proved to be too far advanced compared to Blue's. In a final act of action he stuck a plasma grenade on the Forerunner, taking him down with Blue. He was found by Illinois after Phi sent an distress signal, Blue was dead.

    In 2572, exactly 10 years after Blue's death, he returned and began to be excited about his return....until he learned that he was just a mere clone of the real Blue and that's when he met another familiar face, Green who happened to still be standing and breathing, saying she had amnesia from what happened. While Blue may have returned from the dead. Going deeper into the question of why Green was still alive, he learned his answer of that she was already dead and is also currently a clone. While this put both of them into a noticeable state of depression. In mid-2572, Blue, Green, and a squad of SPARTAN-Vs including Tyler and Rachel investigated a supposed Forerunner attack, which had been making attacks against Humanity during the previous ten years. The attack turned out to be fact, resulting in an ambush that turned in favor of the UNSC. Before the mission could of been completely called a success a Forerunner remained, pointing an Incineration Cannon at the Twos. Pulling a final stunt he had done ten years prior, Blue once again blew up his opponent with a plasma grenade right as he fired his Incineration Cannon, this time leaving nothing left to recover.

    2580, the last of the clones of Blue drifts in what remains of a UNSC ship, a crumbling Phi setting it to crash land on a Halo Ring, Installation 02...

(I hope you guys enjoyed this, I know the update wasn't a very big update, just changing the last paragraph but it was still changing things a bit, everything else is exactly the way it was with no changes.)
